1957 Chevrolet Bel Air 2-Door Hardtop

This 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air is a two-door hardtop that was refurbished and modified prior to the seller’s 2026 acquisition. Its replacement 283ci V8 has been bored over and fitted with a revised camshaft and lifters as well as dual Carter four-barrel carburetors. Shifting is through a 700R4 four-speed automatic transmission that is engaged via a TCI shifter. Other work included refinishing the body in red and retrimming the red and white interior. The car rides on five-spoke wheels and has front disc brakes, a side-exit exhaust system, traction bars, and aftermarket instrumentation. This Bel Air is now offered with a Pennsylvania title in the seller’s name. The car was refinished in red as part of the work under prior ownership, and the seller states that body panels were also replaced at that time. Details include twin wind splits, hooded headlights, and chrome bumpers and trim. Five-spoke wheels are fitted over front disc and rear drum brakes. Traction bars are fitted, and the side-exit dual exhaust system terminates ahead of the rear wheels. White and red vinyl upholstery covers the bench seats, red carpets line the floors, and a replacement headliner is installed. A TCI shifter is installed. The two-spoke steering wheel has a chrome horn ring and sits ahead of aftermarket gauges, including a Stewart Warner 160-mph speedometer. The seller reports that the 283ci V8 was installed in 2025 and bored .060″ over. It was assembled with stainless-steel valves, a solid camshaft, dual Carter four-barrel carburetors, and Corvette-style valve covers. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a 700R4 four-speed automatic transmission. The current Pennsylvania title carries an “Antique Vehicle” brand.
