1988 Jeep Grand Wagoneer

This 1988 Jeep Grand Wagoneer is powered by a 360ci V8 linked with a three-speed automatic transmission, both of which were rebuilt in 2023. Finished in Medium Bronze Metallic from the factory, the truck is believed to have been repainted and the faux-woodgrain trim replaced under previous ownership. Exterior details consist of fog lights, a receiver hitch, a heated and power-retractable rear window, and a bright-finished roof rack, bumpers, mirror caps, and trim. A mileage inconsistency is listed in an October 2024 entry of the Carfax report, which notes that it may be the result of a “clerical error.” The 360ci V8 was overhauled by Acclaim Car and Truck Repair of Scottsdale, Arizona, in September 2023 due to low compression in the cylinders. Work at that time consisted of refreshing the valvetrain, resurfacing the cylinder heads, rebuilding the carburetor, repainting the engine, installing a full gasket set, and replacing the following components: Pistons and rings Timing chain Water pump Spark plugs and ignition wires Expansion pipe and pipe plug EGR valve Oil pressure switch Fuel tank vent and filler hoses Fan shroud Alternator Thermostat Engine mounts Hood release cable An oil change was performed in August 2026. The Selec-Trac four-wheel-drive system uses a shift-on-the-fly dual-range transfer case with a viscous coupling, and a replacement muffler was fitted under previous ownership. The Carfax report shows the aforementioned mileage inconsistency, and it was designated a gross polluter by the state of California in June 1999.
